This is the homepage design I’ve made for a flex webshop. Again, this is a school assignment together with another student.

During the screen printing lessons at school we also had the chance to screen print our own shirts. These are cycling shirts for a few friends and myself.

The purpose of this assignment was to use a sketch from our sketchbook to create a cover for an art magazine. The magazine cover has to fit between all the other covers from that particular magazine.

“From start to end, to create something is a complex process. For me personally, it’s the idea or concept which is the most important for a great design. It’s easy to steal idea’s, follow tutorials or to use cheap brushes. It’s not because someone can work with the tools and applications, that person can create something good. In this design the lines represent the process of creating a good design and the yellow line represents someone who isn’t that creative.”

Together with 3 other students we created a flash website which has the functionality to pimp your own avatars. My job was to design the different mobsters.

At school we had the chance to screen print our own business cards. A really cool experience!

Another cool school assignment. The purpose was to (re)design a shoebox from an existing brand. I’ve chosen for “Floris Van Bommel”, a dutch shoe brand which I really like! As you can see I didn’t stop after the outside was ready. There is an extra compartment, a brochure and a plastic cover.
